Roe Vs Wade...

I am Michelle. I am an empowerment and transformation accountability coach, I help people realize their inner fire.

You might not know that I started my path with the tagline of a woman's trauma Coach.

And this is why Roe vs. Wade is so near and dear to my heart because of trauma.

I was raped. I was sexually violated by my stepfather at age eight, until I left at 16 at which time I went and stayed with my grandmother.

Had I gotten pregnant at the tender age of 10 or 13 under the new laws that they want to pass, that they that some states want to pass I would have been forced to carry my violator's child.

And under the law that violator motherfucker would be allowed to have parental rights. He could sue me for custody of the resulting child.

Go fucking figure.

And oh, I do swear a lot.

So if that bothers you, you might want to continue on…The Blog is “GIVING IT TO YOU RAW.”

Here is the thing about where you stand on reproductive rights.

They're your fucking opinions. Okay?

If you believe that a life starts at conception, because you know that your belief or that of your religious belief particularly, and you are spouting that it's fucking fine.

I'm okay with that.

I celebrate every birth.

I celebrate every birth that I hear about my friends having grandchildren or My grown babies having babies, I celebrate perfect strangers having babies.

I think they're so sweet and innocent. I just love babies snuggled, their sweet baby smells and a freshly bathed baby with powder and lotion.

I can't get enough of it. But I want these babies to have the best possible fucking start in the world.

I want babies CELEBRATED not forced upon someone.

In fact if i told you that there is a woman out there whose husband keeps her pregnant deliberately because the bible gives him that right. If I told you she is sick, losing her teeth and her bladder is falling yet he got her pregnant again. If I told you this you would fight for her and call this reproductive abuse and coercion DOMESTIC VIOLENCE!!! Because it is!

Oh and remember how horrified you were when you learned some of your white relatives own slaves back in the day and they raped the colored women and forced them to have babies and these babies where stolen from their arms and sold? Or how the white slave owners forced their male slaves to sleep with the female the white owner chose to build up his “stock”

Remember how horrified you were? That anyone could be so cruel? Thank GOD that the past is behind us and we can do better now…..right!?!

Yet we just legalized that very thing only this time around the only safe uterus owner is one that has money and power OR the baby daddy who doesn't want to be daddy has the money and power.

“The number one cause of death to a pregnant woman is homicide. A study found that pregnant women in the US are TWICE as likely to die by homicide then by conditions of her pregnancy. Two thirds of the deaths occurred in the woman’s home, suggesting a partner was responsible. Some experts think that the overturn of Roe will further endanger women’ according to Insider magazine and many other sources.

The sad thing about these politicians that are making these laws governing a body and legalizing Reproductive abuse and coercion.

Basically giving the living less rights than the dead.

And everyone's gonna say, Well, you know, this president had this kind of life and this person had that kind of life and they all came from abuse or sad story beginnings.

But truth be told, those success stories are very, very minimal. If you take the number of births and separate low income, Abuse, neglect out from the privileged births and then divide that number by the “success” stories you would find out that it wouldn't even be 1% that succeed.

Most die by the hands of their parents, or become addicted to drugs and/or alcohol. Most don't get a proper education. Most seldom experience parental love.

Your religious beliefs are yours. However, God is Pro-Choice. He may want you to choose one way over another but he specifically says we are given free will to choose.

I also do not believe laws should be made from those religious beliefs.

We have separation of church and state for that reason so that laws can't be passed based on religious ideologies.

And it should be that way.

Because Christianity, and all its blanketed religious sectors are not the only religious belief system in the United States.

But here's the thing, when we start making laws based on religious beliefs, when we start dictating to other people who is right and who is wrong and what you believe should happen in someone’s family, and what you believe should happen in my family, we crossed a very slippery slope.

Because, again, religious beliefs are not universal.

Also, we're going to talk really quickly about bodily autonomy.

If my son needs a kidney, the law could not force me to give him my kidney even if I am a perfect match and there is one one else available.

Now, let me tell you that if I'm a match the kid is getting one of my fucking kidneys.

There's no if ands or buts.

But the law cannot force me to do that.

FYI, I am a donor, I am an organ donor, my entire family knows that I'm an organ donor. When I am when I leave this earth, if it is at all possible, take whatever the fuck you need from my body and give it to someone so they can live.

Give it to someone so they can have quality of life, that grandpa or grandma or daughter, Auntie or uncle gets to live by something that might be my eyes, my heart, my lungs, whatever. But they need my permission to do so.

John Doe, can die in a car accident, nobody claims his body and he is on life support and without his permission they cannot harvest his organs.

That's bodily autonomy.

No one in the United States can be forced to give anything of your body for the life of another.

Yet The fetus cannot survive without the host mother. It isn't its own identity. It relies on the host mother for everything.

And I have never had an abortion and that is because i was never in a position where I had to make that choice. But I could have been. I was raped by my stepfather from age 7 til I turned 16 when i moved in with my grandmother.

I am not pro abortion, I am pro choice.

I believe all other options should be considered.

Are you using birth control? Please do but that fails.

If that fails, your plan B should be an option.

From what I'm understanding. Don't quote me on this. Don't take it as the Gospel according to Michelle, but Plan B might be in trouble too in some states as well as other birth control.

Do not quote me on that. You can do your own research.

But if Plan B's in trouble, then what?

You are a mother with five kids with an abusive husband. You want out…But you can’t now because you have another fucking kid waiting to be born.

Another one that you can't feed, you can take care of and you don't have support from anyone. You are stuck in this abusive relationship and so are those five fucking children!

This is going to affect the very poor people, this is going to affect people that are living in their cars, the homeless.

I live in South Carolina and I worked as a manager and assistant manager at a quick lube. Let me tell you, if I did the math quickly, roughly 25% of the vehicles that came through my shop are people that were homeless living out of their vehicles.

How does this ban affect them?

Let's face it, sex is a commodity you can get anywhere and biologically you have the right to have sex. You might say you shouldn't but again don't enforce religious beliefs here.

Sex isnt the GIFT to the privledged class so stuff your “If you cant afford it dont have sex” bullshit. Sex isnt just for the rich!

So if bodily autonomy means that I cannot be forced to give anybody my body parts to support a life, why is this Roe vs. Wade overturned at the federal level?

It's a problem.

It's going to be a serious, serious problem if they don't change laws going forward with pro life because as the law sits right now it's only pro birth.

You must be forced to carry out that birth, you must deliver that child whether you're going to survive or not fuck doesn’t matter as long as you're delivering that kid.

Now that I do understand some of the states are rattling around right now trying to get laws passed so that their states are protected.

The same group of people who are pro life are the same people who are anti social programs. What about the babies of bodily autonomy?

It's not a person yet again, you got to separate science from religion. And hell, science is still arguing over when life actually starts.

I don't, if you believe that life begins at conception, keep that belief.

I am not fighting against that. And I would hope everybody else out there would not fight against that, because this is a country where we're supposed to be able to believe what we want to believe.

I am against laws being made, forcing other people's beliefs on someone else.

So if you are out there, and you're like, in my case, What if I want to get pregnant at 10…..

(Because children, young ladies, young girls are coming into their cycles early these days.)

Here's me, pregnant by my rapist, by my stepfather who raped me,

or what if it's a neighbor and a grandfather or an uncle or, God forbid a brother?

We're forcing these people, these children to have children.

We got the physical trauma of the rape, we got the emotional trauma of these young children being forced to have babies, when their minds can't even comprehend what having a baby means.

And then we have the social problems, where they're going to go to school…I would hope but chances are, they're going to drop out.

But if they go to school, they're going to be traumatized at school and bullied, for being pregnant.

Then Their little body is not developed enough to naturally give birth so they are physically traumatized again by having a C Section.

And then what are your chances of going forward in life especially in a world that sees mental health care as a stigma. Most can't even afford it.

Well, without proper childcare, without proper housing, without proper health care, without proper mental health fucking care, with out paid family leave…(Oh wait we are talking about a hypothetical 10 year old here so who IS paying for all this?)

So I'm not asking you all to change your opinions for yourself or your family. I'm asking you not to force those opinions on others and make them law.

And that's all they are YOUR opinions!!

They're not facts.

You can not force those opinions on other people, a rapist, Someone who physically attacks a woman and there's a product from that attack, and it's an unwanted fetus that she is carrying. You say she should be forced to keep it.

And then that douche bag, insert other D word for the rapist (Yeah that word is D-I-C-K)…He gets to have parental rights. He can fight her for custody.

But then we have the social system that says well, if you're on welfare, you're a loser.

If you need childcare, which I want to ask everybody here, who knows how much it costs for childcare in your state or in your town?

Here, in South Carolina, the average childcare is $20 an hour for one child to get good childcare.

One is registered with a state and all that stuff and has all the benefits and all that hunky dory shit and I'm not talking like elite status, you know that the rich people get I'm talking about local childcare. 20 freakin dollars an hour is the average. What is our minimum? Wage $7.25?

So if a teenager is forced to have a child that she doesn't want How is she paying for the childcare?

We don't have programs.

We don't have paid family medical leave if she is working. Which means she isn't going to make any money while she is off with a newborn.

We don't have protection from abuse.

We say oh, we have protection from abuse, but we know it doesn't work. PFA is a freaking piece of paper that someone could wipe their ass with.

When we're passing laws, and we're putting a motion in it, and we're putting religious beliefs in it, we're not taking into consideration everything else that's going on in the world.

We're not taking into consideration what happens in other people's families, we look at our suburban families, and we're like, oh, we have 2.5 kids, we have two cars in the driveway, we got our mortgage, we got this, we're paying our bills, we are living the dream.

But we are not talking about the ones that are living below poverty level, we're not talking to ones in the inner cities, we're not talking to ones that are living in their cars, we're not given any of those considerations.

We're just saying, my beliefs matter.

My belief should be law. And that's fucking it.

And that's the way it should go.

That's not it. And that's not the way it should go.

The trauma of any child having a child of any age is difficult. Let alone the trauma of having a child as a child. Whether they keep the baby or not is not the point, it is the ability to choose the type of life to give to the child.

We live in a privileged society, and I know that word is gonna get me in so much trouble. But I am here for it.

I mean, we live in a privileged society like this house, where I'm living it is easily worth $300,000 In today's market.

I have a two car garage out front here, I have a car.

Tom has a car, my son just got himself a car. This house sits on 1.8 acres. This is privilege.

But what about the people in the inner cities that don't have anything?

Oh ANd we are soooo quick to pick on that person who just brought out an EBT card, you know, apparently they didn't want to work, right?

Oh, and there's someone who's living out of their car. I'm sure a person living in a car is their fault. Well, probably at some point; but, people DO come across hard times.

I just watched a show about a woman and it was a true story. A woman whose husband got terminally ill, they mortgaged everything to pay for his terminal illness. And she ended up in the street because he died and didn't have enough life insurance. In fact, I even think they cashed in that life insurance. I can't remember the whole thing. Regardless, they had no money left. And she ended up in the streets with her two children. But anyway, we don't think about that. There ARE many situations like that in the US but we don't want to have that conversation do we?

As women, we should have the choice and control over our own body. We're not second class citizens. Men have decided that we should be forced to carry children, we should be the ones to control the birth control and when we have decided to no longer have children MOST MEN REFUSE TO GET A VASECTOMY!! They expect the woman or uterus owners to take care of that too!

I wonder what the actual agenda is.

I don't want to sound like a conspiracy theorist, because I'm not.

However, a man with a penis can go and get a little blue pill to make sure that that penis works. And that the penis ejaculates and that penis does everything a penis is supposed to do. And it's paid for by his insurance by the state if he has state issued medical..

But a woman…..I don't know what happened.

I don't know when in society, women became the low man on the totem pole.

With bodily autonomy, you cannot take the parts out of a dead person and sell them or use them or save a life with a pre-mortem release.

You cannot.

That person who has passed away, has more rights then the woman or the uterus bear that is alive and has a family to take care of.

They don't want to address the issue once and for all!

A friend of mine has had some miscarriages, and I know this subject is gonna be tough, touchy for people who've had situations where they wanted a child and for whatever reason and it's not working. Things aren't happening naturally for them with their bodies. And that's sad. I mean, it breaks my heart for them.

Someone who wants a child can't and then there's someone who has a child and then doesn't want to or cannot or whatever their choices, take care of it.

But it still comes down to “personal opinions and personal preferences don't make law” because the law has to be across the board.

The belief system has to be across the board everybody believes in it.

It doesn't matter if you're Buddhist, it doesn't matter if you're pagan, it doesn't matter what kind of Christianity subtitle you fall under:

You all believe Murder is murder.

You all agree that Stealing is stealing.

We all agree on that. So that should be a law.

But even with that law, here's another thing, with the right little lawyer, you can get the fuck out of it.

Right lawyer, right circumstances, right witnesses you can get out of almost anything…With the right amount of money.

But a woman's body is controlled so tightly as like, what are you afraid of?

What is the world afraid of?

What are they afraid of?

What if we give women, the uterus owners the right to have control over their body that something's going to happen?

That will make men less important?

I've seen a lot of our circles saying fuck the patriarchy!

Right, folks? The patriarchy is trying to keep us down.

Fuck the patriarchy. Let's replace it with us.

No, that's not the answer, either.

Because let's face it, as a cis woman, there are some fucking bitches out there, I wouldn't want them in power.

It is a coming together of people.

We need to come together as a society and understand that things aren't working the way they should be working.

It has nothing to do with religion. It has to do with what is right and what is wrong.

Women became too comfortable.

We didn’t stay vigilant.

It's not my job to tell you what you believe is wrong and what I believe is right, your belief system is your belief system.

But it's not a belief system that is shared across the board, it is not a belief system that universally everyone can accept.

We cannot control a male's body or someone who has a penis. We cannot control what they do with that. Why are we controlling the uterus?

Otherwise, we'd be forcing the vasectomy because they can be reversed. (In most cases)

Psychologically, physiologically, emotionally, everything is changed when you have a child. And for me it was a blessing. I love my children as much as I like to kill them some days. I love my children. But I want ALL children to be brought into this world with the least amount of trauma as possible.

Until the entire system changes, not just pro life, I mean pro birth, make sure it's pro life.

If you cannot do that, then don't make laws for everybody.

Did we uterus owners just become too comfortable with Roe Vs Wade and we weren't being watchful? Well, it's very, very, very, very possible.

I'm not a rightist, and I'm not a leftist, if anybody wants to know my political affiliation: I'm a conservative libertarian. So I'm a fence rider. That's right in the middle. I'm not left and I'm not right. Those two…. They shall never marry.

I support whats humanly right, and we knew for While when Trump came into office that he was very, very Fuck it I'm just gonna say it the way I believe,....he's anti woman.

We knew this was gonna be a possibility. I don't think we fought hard enough.

I don't think there was enough lobbying, there was not enough peaceful protesting, folks, protesters to be peaceful. I do foresee that that's going to change.

And I think it might be two minutes too late. I do perceive that if the states do not stand up for the women, the uterus bearing people in their states, that it could become a problem across the United States.

Here's the problem with the people we put in office, how they get in there. We end up dealing with the ” Better the devil we know than the devil we don't” situation.

If you don't know what that means, that means somebody's already in an office, someone new comes in, but we're not sure about them, we really don't know anything about them. So we're going to keep the asshole that's already there in office, and we'll deal with whatever the outcome will be.

But then nothing changes. Because we don't want to take a risk on the devil, we don't know.

That's the sad part. And then, very often, we get into the subject of career politicians and all that crap.

And that would get us nowhere. But my whole thing here today is to have some empathy.:For people out there to think differently than you.

You know, and I know this is a touchy subject and I again, I am not pro abortion, I'm pro choice. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE!

I think if someone goes into family planning, for example, or someone sits down at your table and says,” Hey, I haven't got myself into a situation I'm pregnant. And , I'm not sure what I'm gonna do.” I think all options should be put out there. All options should be explained thoroughly. What are the consequences? What are you gonna do? I believe in game plans.

So if you're gonna have this child, What's your game plan for work?

What's your game plan for childcare, schooling, who's gonna help you

where's your support system, you don't have any of those? Okay, here's another option, then if you don't, if you don't think you can be the parent that you need to be for this child. We have adoption, we have fostering, AND abortion.

Of course, it's a choice. I am pro choice, not pro abortion, because I've never had one.

My reproductive system is broke down. It's now a playground, as I call it, there might be some cobwebs on the swingset. But it's still a playground. So I know, I will never have an abortion.

But if my daughter comes to me and says, “I have a problem. I can't have this with my mental issues, or my career or my finances”…whatever because her decision is really none of my business…

I'm going to support her as much as it'll break my heart, I'm going to support whatever is best for her. Because of bodily autonomy.

Never should we be forced by anyone. And here's the thing that I want to bring up one last comment because I don't want to beat the dead horse.

What happens next, when they start attacking bodily autonomy?

And what about the things we have now that all came because of the right to privacy that Roe gave us?

Such as marrying who we want regardless of sex or race?

HIPAA…yes that’s part of the right to medical privacy.

What about what sexual acts are preformed in your bedroom. Certain states have laws on the books making sodomy and cunnilingus Illegal and is currently protected by privacy that was give through Roe.

You now can reverse that and you know, because I'm just thinking about the world's worst case scenarios that have happened in our history, where something became a precedent, and then that precedent was attacked, and new laws were created.

Soooo what happens then when we're forced to give a kidney away, where we're forced to give whatever is needed to a complete stranger because you no longer have bodily autonomy.

That is a slippery slope when you mess with bodily autonomy.

And then what happens when it's turned on the guys? Oh That’s right Cis men will never risk that!! They will never be regulated.

Read your history people.

We've been down this road before. I don't understand how we're supposed to be so smart and so advanced and the best country in the world and superpower, but yet we keep going backwards.

We keep going backwards.

And well. Look at the age of people in power. That's all I'm gonna say about that. Its time for some young blood. But I love you all. Thank you for coming to my TED Talk…. my soapbox talk.

So when you're out there having your conversations and this, I'm sure it's gonna come up a lot in the next few days ,or next few weeks.

Remember, we're not out there to change people's minds on their beliefs.

But we're not out there to change people's belief systems. I never want to change somebody's belief system.

I just want to change the laws that are created when they're created by religious belief systems.

Do your research on all I mentioned. Check your state's standings and vote accordingly.
